Effective date: 17 September 2026
These Terms of Use govern your use of the MATHION iOS app and related services ("MATHION", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms.
MATHION lets you capture a photo of a math problem, recognises it, and provides a step-by-step solution, alongside a scientific calculator and a saved history of your questions and answers. Solutions are generated with the assistance of a third-party AI service and are provided for educational purposes; MATHION does not guarantee that every generated solution is correct, and you should verify important results yourself.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Contact support@mathionedu.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Some features require a paid subscription plan. Subscriptions are bought through Apple's App Store as in-app purchases. The price and billing period are shown before you buy. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms; you can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings.
Do not use MATHION to upload unlawful content, attempt to circumvent security or rate limits, or use the app to relay general-purpose requests to the underlying AI service outside its intended math-solving purpose.
You retain ownership of the photos and questions you submit. You grant MATHION a license to process that content solely to provide the service (recognising the problem, generating a solution, and storing your history for your own later access).
You may stop using MATHION at any time and delete your account as described in Delete your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
MATHION is provided "as is." Solutions are generated automatically and may contain errors. MATHION is a study aid, not a substitute for instruction from a qualified teacher. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you.
We may update these terms as the service changes. The effective date above shows when they last changed.
